In some ways I never really had a choice of the person I became.

Yes, there were discretions, but some were made for me.

There are roads I went down and got lost on my way.

When I came to a fork, I chose the best route before me.

Sometimes there was disappointment.

But often, unimaginable beauty appeared just around the corner.

Every obstacle left me with an option.

Would I stay in the darkness or slowly more forward?

There were times when I struggled and fell to my knees.

Then the Lord stretched his hand and helped me stand in faith.

I’ve been forged in the fire till my soul found strength.

I’m not my failures despite the unsuccess I've known.

My story has chapters of both setbacks and growth.

It’s a tale of adventure, dreams, and hope.

My spirit has transformed in ways I never dreamt possible.

In the middle of difficultly lies the greatest opportunities.

We fall, we break, we fail.

But then we rise and overcome.

We heal.

We love.

We move on.
