"I walk by faith, even when I cannot see." 2 Corinthians 5-7

Today, you have a decision to make.
Will you remain unnoticed, or stand faithfully in truth?
Will you use tragedy for testimony?
Lower the veil of your secrets?
Will you open your heart?
Let go of vulnerability and shame?
Will you allow God to use you?
Respond with forgiveness and grace?
Can you let go of regret, to become who you are meant to be?
If there's a change in me, could there be a change in you?
Let go of expectation to let the Father determine your participation?
He has seen your afflictions and heard your cries,
Bottled your tears and recorded your sorrows.
Will you allow him to lead you when your fuel tank is low?
Will your circumstance have power?
Will you give praise and thanks when there are no responses?
Will you do all that you do for the praise of his glory?
Will you change course to become what he meant you to be?
Will you choose today to obey in faith?
Will you answer his calling?

ANSWERING GOD'S CALLING
We each have a name.
A name that people specifically use to address us.
It's the name attached to our identity.
When someone wants our attention, they call us by name.
That's exactly what God does.
There are times we know there is something he specifically wants us to do.
He has designed a purpose for each of us that is as unique and specific as your personal name.
Everyone has a calling.
And every person's calling is different.
The word "calling" is often used in religious environment but purpose and mission are pretty much the same meaning.
All three words are the same way of saying that God has a specific will for each one of us.
We may be unsure of the voice we are hearing when we feel drawn to a serve a purpose.
But when it is God's plan, resource will chase you down with intensity.
He can use anything from your painful experience to an overwhelming miracle.
I have often asked if this "calling" is really for my good?
My dearest friend Stephanie recently reminded me that in this unfamiliar territory I have to trust him completely and rest in knowing that it's all in his hands.
Sometimes challenges are part of the plan for arriving at our purpose.
"For our know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11.
